A couple of films to go with your chocolates!

Chocolat

(PG-13, 2000)
A woman in the process of trying to find herself opens a chocolate shop in a small French village, much to the chagrin of the uptight residents. Along the way, she changes their hearts and her own. Stars the lovely Juliette Binoche and a dashing Johnny Depp. Finally, a movie where chocolate is the star! Based on the book by Joanne Harris. Incidentally, I enjoyed the film & decided to give the book a miss. I've been told this was a smart move!
I also love the music, composed by the talented Rachel Portman and some tracks feature Stephan Grapelli.
One of my favourite films (and that's not because of Johnny Depp!)
Our rating: 5 out of 5 choccies

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

(G, 1971)
This is the original 1971 chocolate movie starring Gene Wilder, in which a poor boy wins the chance to visit the world's greatest candy factory, and we get to go with him. If it were me, I would take my chances and jump in the chocolate river.
Our rating: 5 out of 5 choccies

Marmite Chocolate - Very Peculiar!

I came across this article in the Mail Online and had to flag it up.

Now I love chocolate and I love Marmite (on toast with Cottage Cheese on top - I know, that is also peculiar!)
but I'm not sure about eating them both together at the same time. Perhaps I should see if we could get some
35gm bars and use them on Personalised Chocolate?

Unilever, the company behind Marmite, has described the 100g bars as ‘a devious treat for the in-laws’ at Christmas or ideal for those
struggling to find a present for a loved one. The chocolate initially forms part of Marmite’s limited edition Christmas range. Louise Eccles, Reporter

Here's the full article in the Mail Online . Do let me know what you think and should we get some small bars to use in the business??

Don't look at this!!

I know, I know it's far too early and I'm not going to quote how many days there are until Christmas, but I thought I give you a little teaser.

Personalised Chocolate can be used for Place Cards, a nice alternative for Christmas Cards (and an eco-friendly one!) or just as a nice little gift to say Thank You to someone who has done something special in the year.

Okay, I won't mention Christmas now for a while!
